Gemstones come in many grades
and qualities, and we have established with our suppliers
of materials in the Far East, that we will only accept
a good quality product.
The bangles and scroll earrings are ECND plated (European
Community Nickel Directive), to limit the amount of nickel
used and reduce allergic reaction for those who suffer
from this problem. All other earrings are either gold
plated or sterling silver as marked.
Necklaces
are strung with plated clasps, but we have a range of
sterling silver clasps if you prefer, just contact us
and we will quote for this extra. On a lot of the styles
we can offer the choice of 9ct gold fittings.
FRESHWATER
PEARL JEWELLERY
The pearls we use are all Japanese.
We import them in bulk and string them ourselves to
the standard lengths offered on our pearl page. You
may choose to have any of the displayed pearls strung
to the exact length you require, and we will make it
to order for you. If you want the necklace to go with
certain necklines you can make sure it will fit exactly.
All
the strings of larger pearls are double knotted between
each pearl to give the necklace more suppleness. Other
sized pearls are knotted regularly to make them flexible,
but without spoiling their appearance.
All
the pearl necklaces have sterling silver clasps as standard,
and 9ct gold clasps are available to order.
We
also design and thread pearl necklaces with gemstones
or silver/gold beads interspersed. Have a necklace made
especially for you using gemstones in the colour you
mostly wear, and have matching earrings made to complete
the set. Tell us what you want, if we can, we will make
it for you.
All
the earrings displayed are sterling silver with the
exception of the clips. Drop earrings can be made using
any of the pearl types displayed to match the necklaces,
just ask us to quote.
9ct gold fittings are also offered on drop earrings.
